Rows of devotees sit close together: women in red and maroon silk saris with gold borders, and in orange, yellow and cream clothing, with a few men in white dhotis and orange-red shawls behind. Two microphone stands sit in the foreground beside several girls in deep red silk dresses with gold trim. On the right, trays of red kumkum or flower petals are heaped on a table draped with a blue and gold cloth bearing the printed name Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam.
