August 02 20092009-08-02July 28 20082008-07-28A photograph of a doorway in a plain interior room with pale walls and grey tiled floor. A man in an orange saffron robe wearing a long white flower garland with coloured tassels stands in the open wooden doorway, with another saffron-robed attendant beside him and a few figures behind. A bare-headed older man in white dhoti and shirt bends forward at the right, hands together, near an orange cloth laid on the floor. A framed portrait on a shelf at upper right shows a person in an orange turban. A beige plastic chair and a sheer lilac curtain sit at left, and a camera is visible behind the group. Around him, men in white dhotis and shirts walk in procession; one at right carries a silver tray, and another at left in white gestures toward flower garlands and marigold strings laid on the floor. Beyond the doorway, a shed is decorated with marigold festoons and blue drapery hangs by a window. A red carpet runs across the floor. The figure in orange has a distinctive turban, saffron robe and rudraksha mala, but the appearance is not clear enough to confirm identity, so the candidate is recorded as unsure.2010-02-18July 28 20082008-07-28A central figure in a saffron-orange robe and a multicoloured flower garland with white blooms, with a small red mark on the forehead, walks through a doorway and raises one hand in greeting. Behind him an orange-clad attendant and others in orange and white stand near an open doorway where a ceremonial umbrella and a procession are visible. To the left a woman in a cream sari with yellow shawl and a young girl in cream sari with orange-red border stand nearby. On the right, men and women in white kurta-style clothes with rudraksha-type beads and yellow shawls observe, and a man in a white kurta stands near a red chair. The walls are pale pink with orange curtains.2009-12-23Photograph of a smiling man with long dark hair in an orange saffron robe, wearing a long multicolour flower garland and a gold necklace of rudraksha-style beads, raising one hand in greeting as he steps through a white lattice gate. Beside him a man in white dhoti and orange shawl reaches to guide him, and another man in orange robes with long hair stands at right. Green foliage, banana plants and a bright courtyard form the background, with a small dark pedestal and brass lamp at lower right. a person: the figure in the centre wears a saffron robe, a garland of multicolour flowers and ornate gold beads, the appearance cues that qualify the label.2010-01-19July 13 20092009-07-13July 28 20082008-07-28February 15 20092009-02-15Indoor photo in a dimly lit hall with white walls, a wooden doorway and a tiled floor with brown and cream patterns.
