Night satsang in an open-air tent with colourful circular fringed canopies. Seated devotees in rows on striped mats face a stage, with a large screen behind showing a projected figure in orange robes and a rudraksha-style necklace seated in meditation posture. Several people in white garments stand and sit near the stage, and brass trident-topped ritual staffs and potted plants flank the area. Many men and women in dhotis and plain clothes sit cross-legged in the foreground. The projected figure on screen is a depiction; no physical person on stage is clearly identifiable as a person, so the in-person status is unsure.2019-01-20Night-time outdoor satsang under a canopy strung with multicoloured pennant bunting. Dozens of devotees, mostly women in white saris with dark borders, sit cross-legged on striped mats in rows facing a stage. A tall brass trident stands among the front seats and hanging lamps glow nearby. On the stage, a person in a light shirt stands by a lectern while another figure sits at a table with equipment. A large screen behind shows a seated figure in orange robes, possibly a depiction of a teacher; a red banner is visible at right. A bright floodlight glares at left.2019-01-20A night satsang held under a canopy of pink fabric and colourful circular paper decorations. Dozens of devotees sit on striped mats in rows, most seen from behind, some in white and gold clothing. A large screen at the front shows a figure in saffron and orange robes seated on a throne-like seat, with a bright light source to the left. Brass ritual lamps and ornamental stands stand near the platform, and a few white-robed attendants move on the right side. The scene is an outdoor event setting with the speaker displayed on screen rather than physically present.2019-01-20Night outdoor satsang under a tent with a red and dark canopy and strings of coloured bunting. Dozens of men, mostly bare-chested with white sacred markings on their chests and arms and white dhotis, sit cross-legged on pink mats facing a distant stage. Several men in the front rows wear rudraksha-style garlands. In the background two figures in saffron/orange robes stand near the stage area beneath strings of small lights. The crowd fills most of the frame, with a few chairs and a railing at the right edge.2017-09-05
