Silver bowls and plates are arranged in tiered rings holding red roses, yellow marigold petals and white flowers. A central heap of red and yellow flowers and a white floral garland sit among the bowls, with silver pots and a silver vessel with a leaf sprig on the right. Multiple scalloped silver bowls hold red and pink flower petals, orange and yellow marigolds, white orchids, saffron-coloured powders, sweets and a small silver vessel. Red roses and green leaves lie among the bowls. At the upper right, a gilded carved frame bears a white tiger face motif. Silver bowls and small silver cups hold orange marigold petals, pink roses, red hibiscus, yellow chrysanthemums and white flowers. A ring of orange and yellow flowers encircles a central golden vessel, and a silver spouted pot, possibly a kalasha or abhishekam vessel, sits among the offerings. Amber liquid fills some bowls, and a white conch-shaped object lies beside a silver plate. No people are visible; the scene consists only of puja offerings and flowers.2013-11-03A photograph of ritual offerings arranged on an ornate gold-toned table. Several round silver trays hold small silver bowls filled with orange and yellow sweets, pink and red pastes, and dried or fresh flower petals. A central gold plate is surrounded by red roses, pink lotus blooms, orange marigold petals and green leaves, with a small gold kalasha-like vessel at its centre. Silver cups and a silver container with a flower sit on the trays. Partially visible at the top edge are a saffron-clad figure and an orange-draped person, but no faces are shown. This appears to be a puja or prasad offering setup.2013-09-22September 07 20142014-09-07Overhead view of a ritual offering arrangement on a gold-embossed tray.
