A large hall filled with seated devotees in white, saffron and red clothing, many wearing marigold garlands. In the foreground, a bare-chested priest in an orange-red dhoti and shawl holds a lit brass oil lamp and a small vessel toward a seated group. Seated people wear garlands, a woman in a green sari sits near a man in a white shirt with a saffron shawl, and a bride-like figure in white and gold jewellery sits at left. A man in a white kurta and garland sits centre-right with a red chair behind him. Overhead chandeliers and a wide stage area are visible; the room holds dozens of people. The ritual appears to be an aarti with a lamp offering.2014-05-10A photograph of a large hall with warm ceiling lights and chandeliers, filled with seated devotees in white and coloured saris. On the right, a man in a red-orange turban, orange-red garments, and layered gold necklaces sits on an ornate gold throne, smiling. Before him, a young priest in orange robes and a saffron shawl holds a silver tray with a lit multi-wick oil lamp, a ritual aarti. Nearby, a woman in a green sari, a man in white with a marigold garland, and others wearing marigold garlands sit attentively. A watermarked credit line appears in the lower right, which is not part of the scene. Such an image fits satsang and aarti rites, with the seated figure's appearance.2014-05-10A large hall filled with seated devotees performing a ritual with oil lamps.
