The man on the right, wearing an orange garment and multiple beaded necklaces, pulls a rope up over the pole while another man in orange holds a rope nearby. A man in pink robes with a small orange bag stands at left, and a bare-chested man in orange cloth attends beside a red-covered table holding brass vessels. A black stone pot sits at the pole's base on a brick platform, with white flower petals scattered on woven mats and a blue patterned mat in front. Red-and-white painted stone platforms surround the area.2012-10-15October 15 20122012-10-15October 15 20122012-10-15Outdoor scene beneath tall coconut palms at dusk. On the left, a shaved-headed man in orange cloth stands beside a large stone structure topped with a thatched straw cone wrapped in rope and adorned with purple and white flower garlands. In the centre, a standing man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala grips a thick white rope, gazing upward. In the lower right, a shaved-headed man in orange kneels beside a brass tray of flowers and offerings. Behind them, a dark stone pedestal holds a yellow flower, and a seated figure in white is partly visible at the bottom. The setting suggests a temple ritual in progress.2011-12-10April 29 20132013-04-29Night outdoor ritual at a dark tree-lined setting with a raised stone platform. A man in saffron robes and gold necklace raises a brass aarti lamp with a bright flame high in his right hand. Beside him, an older man in white dhoti and shirt holds a small brass bell and stands with hands folded. To the right, a man in a saffron turban and rudraksha mala stands with palms pressed together in prayer. Further right, another saffron-clad figure stands in profile. On the left edge, hands folded in namaskar belong to devotees in orange and white. Marigold petals lie on the ground at lower right. The visible rudraksha mala and saffron turban are appearance cues that may suggest a person, but identity is uncertain.2008-12-30October 15 20122012-10-15
