A black stone statue of Dakshinamurthy, a seated form of Shiva as teacher, sits in an outdoor setting beneath leafy tree branches. The figure wears an orange and maroon cloth wrapped over the shoulders and an orange headcloth tied across the forehead, with a single red bindi. Multiple garlands of yellow, red, purple and white flowers hang from its shoulders to the base, and a rudraksha mala lies across the chest. Its upraised hands hold a drum and a flame, and the base carries carved relief figures. A silver-toned arch frames the statue on the right and left.
