A black stone statue of the deity Dakshinamurthy sits beneath a silver-coloured arched canopy surrounded by green tree foliage. The figure has four arms, holds a drum and other implements, and wears an orange-red cloth wrapped over the head and body with a rudraksha mala. Thick garlands of yellow, orange, red, purple and white flowers hang from its shoulders and down the front. A black stone plaque at the base shows a Kannada and English sign reading Dakshinamurthi shrine. Nobody is physically present in the scene.
