Scattered red rose petals lie on the stone edges, a bundle of straw or grass sits along the front, and a green leaf rests near the lower left. Behind the fire, a brass or bronze vessel with scalloped rim sits on a ledge beside a white cloth with red stripes. The scene suggests a homa or yagna fire with floral offerings. No people are visible.A photo of a fire pit in an outdoor ritual setting.
