A bare-chested priest in an orange-and-gold dhoti, with a garland of red and white flowers and a shaved head, holds a lit camphor aarti flame before a golden-framed niche. Two orange-robed attendants stand to the left; one holds a silver tray. Inside the niche, a pair of large deity murtis are dressed in red, yellow and teal garments with crowns, garlands and necklaces, with a cobra hood above one figure. Tall brass oil lamps stand on both sides, and a red curtain frames the shrine. A small white statue of a seated figure with a garland sits at the front. The scene shows an aarti performed as part of a puja.2012-04-24January 03 20082008-01-03September 11 20172017-09-11 +1 copiesA shaved-headed priest in orange-saffron robes and a long rudraksha-style bead necklace stands at left, holding a bell in one hand and a flaming camphor or lamp in the other, performing aarti before a metal murti. The murti shows a standing deity with a crown, trident-like staff and orange cloth, flanked by two smaller orange-clad metal figures with floral garlands. Behind them stands a stone shrine carved with figures and a stone kalasha-like element. Two women in white saris with yellow borders stand with hands folded in the background, and steel vessels sit on the floor. An orange curtain hangs beside the murtis. Orange and red walls surround the scene, with a dark board on the back wall. The priest's ornaments and robe are orange, and the deity figures are gilded and garlanded. This is a temple puja setting. The priest appears to be a priest rather than a confirmed identity, so no identity is asserted.2011-10-07January 03 20082008-01-03Night ritual on a stone-pillared temple porch. A man in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with long dark hair, faces right and waves a flaming lamp and holds a brass bell over a shrine. Before him sits a large deity murti pair with ornate gold crowns, garlanded with yellow and red flower garlands, one figure seated on a red-clothed pedestal. A brass oil lamp stands nearby, with a silver kalasha and offerings in front, and string lights glow behind. Attendants in white stand at the edges.
