In the centre, a bare-chested man with long dark swept-back hair wears an orange-saffron dhoti and orange shawl, his back to the camera, facing a man in white kurta with a mustard-yellow shawl who holds a camera and a pair of sandals. Nearby, a man in a blue shirt wears an orange lanyard and a white cap, and several people in white and orange garments stand around. The long-haired figure in orange has distinctive saffron clothing and swept hair, consistent with a person candidate, though the face is not visible and identity remains uncertain.January 05 20062006-01-05Outdoor photo on a hillside village path of a group of devotees in saffron-orange shawls and robes. At centre, a man with long dark hair wears an orange padded jacket and orange dhoti-style robe, holding a wooden staff and walking barefoot-like in white and black sneakers. Behind him an older man in a cream jacket, orange cap and orange shawl walks beside a cameraman filming with a handheld camcorder. Several seated devotees in orange cloth rest on a low stone wall beside a white marble-like memorial tomb. Corrugated tin roofs and stone houses line the slope behind, with a red-and-white flag on a pole at left.2006-06-01A street procession moves along a roadside lined with shops, a multi-storey building and palm trees. A man in orange robes with a long, bearded face and a bare head walks at the left holding a trident-topped staff. Next to him, a man in orange robes holds a rudraksha mala. In the centre, a man with long dark hair, a red-orange robe and a heavy gold-and-bead garland walks prominently, as the Swamiji (probable), with a rudraksha mala and gold necklace. Behind them, several young women in white saris with orange shawls and rudraksha malas walk in step, and a man in white clothing follows. Onlookers stand along the roadside and a banner is visible on the right.2009-07-13A street scene outside a temple in Tiruvannamalai. In the centre, a man with long swept-back hair wears a saffron-orange shawl and a heavy gold necklace of large beads, with rudraksha beads visible, looking upward with hands folded at his chest. Around him, devotees in saffron-orange robes and gold garlands stand close, one bald man in orange holds a camera, and men in white dhotis and shirts stand nearby. A large blue billboard reading Sri Arunachaleswarar temple sits behind with a framed portrait.2011-12-20Outdoor street photo of a long-haired man in an orange-saffron shawl over a red top, right arm raised toward the sky, standing amid a crowd of men in white dhotis and shirts, some wearing rudraksha malas. Flower garlands are held in the lower left by a person in a yellow garment. Behind them are strings of orange-and-white bunting, a white-and-green building with a dome, traffic lights and roadside shop signs including BSNL and STD ISD PCO.2009-08-03Outdoor photo on a dusty open ground with a bus, low buildings and trees behind. A long-haired figure in an orange-saffron robe and sandals stands at centre as a man in white shirt and white dhoti lifts a long garland of orange and red marigolds over their head. Around them, about a dozen men in white shirts and dhotis, some in orange scarves and some in dark shirts, stand close and watch. In the right foreground a person in a red shirt films with a video camera. Visible people number roughly 20 counting those at the edges.2007-01-12
