Interior room decorated for Diwali with strings of yellow and pink marigold and rose garlands draped across the walls and ceiling. A central altar is covered in pink flower garlands arranged with peacock feathers in a fan behind it. On the altar stands a framed photograph of a bearded saffron-robed sannyasi with a large garland of white and red flowers, flanked by offerings of fruit and flowers. To the left, a framed portrait labelled "PARAMAHAMSA NITHYANANDA" shows a seated figure in orange robes with a rudraksha mala, against a dark forest backdrop. Lit oil lamps and flower petals sit on the altar floor. Several seated devotees in white and orange clothing face the altar, and a man in a checked shirt stands at the right edge.

A photograph of a decorated altar with a framed portrait of a smiling man in an orange turban and saffron robe, seated with hands folded, garlanded with white and red flowers. Peacock feathers fan out behind the frame, and the altar is draped with pink and white flower strings. In front, a tiered brass oil lamp with many wick lamps is ringed with yellow flowers and small lit diyas on leaves. The portrait is a printed picture, so the framed figure is a depiction, and the portrait's appearance cues (orange turban, saffron robe, long-hair style) are distinctive but the figure is a printed image on an altar.

A photograph of a shrine decorated for Diwali in Salem, Tamil Nadu. A framed photograph of a smiling man in orange-saffron robes and a saffron turban, seated on a rock, is garlanded with white, yellow and red flower garlands and framed by a fan of peacock feathers. Oil lamps and marigold petals sit on the flower-covered altar below, and swags of yellow and pink flower garlands hang across the wall above. The framed photograph is a depiction and no people are physically present. The seated figure is shown in a printed photograph, so swamiji is depiction with probable identification from orange-saffron robes, saffron turban and garlanding, while the page states the event involved Swamiji.

A framed portrait of a smiling man in orange-saffron robes and an orange head wrap sits at the centre of a decorated altar. The framed picture is garlanded with white and red flower strands and surrounded by a fan of peacock feathers, with pink and white flower swags draped across the altar front and green leaves and marigolds below. An oil lamp stands at the lower centre and a brass figure and garlands sit at left. A partly visible man stands at the right edge and a bald elderly man sits at the lower right, with other heads visible at the bottom. The portrait is presented as a photograph within the scene; the framed image shows a man in orange clothing sitting on rocks, which matches the page's a person reference only in its saffron attire and head wrap, so identity is unsure.

A photograph of a Diwali altar set up in a room with a tiled floor. A large framed portrait of a bald, orange-robed man with a rudraksha mala sits at the centre, garlanded with white and pink flowers, with a peacock-feather fan behind it. Below, a bed of pink marigold-type garlands drapes the altar, with a brass oil lamp (deepam) tiered with lit wicks and marigold petals scattered on the floor. Fruit, bananas and brass vessels are arranged to the left. A second framed portrait on the left shows a seated man in orange robes with a mala against a dark background, with a garland on its frame. Yellow and red flower strings hang along the walls and a white curtain. The portraits are depictions, not physical people present in the scene.

A man in a brown dhoti with a gold-banded waistcloth and a red-and-white rudraksha-style garland stands at a golden throne-like seat, hands joined in namaskar while adjusting a garland of marigolds, roses and white flowers. A small brown-robed figure of a seated deity murti is decorated with a multicoloured floral arch of red, yellow, green, purple and white blooms. Behind him a younger man in saffron-orange robes with white forehead markings stands with hands folded. Brass offering plates and a small lamp sit on the floor, with an orange cloth draped across a low table, in a plain room with maroon curtains.

An empty ornate golden throne (peetha) on a stage draped with pale blue curtains, decorated with garlands of red roses, white flowers and yellow marigold strands. Framed portrait photograph on the throne back shows a man in saffron-orange robes with a long rudraksha-style mala necklace, one hand raised in blessing, seated before a tree; the portrait is a depiction, not a physical person. Peacock-feather fans flank the stage and white podiums stand on either side. No physical people are visible.

A photograph of a ceremony under a corrugated metal roof. A long-haired person in saffron-orange robes and a red-and-white flower garland sits on an ornate golden throne (peetha) decorated with white and multicoloured flower garlands and a canopy. Lion-shaped armrests flank the seat. In front, a man in white clothes with a grey head and a beaded necklace stands with his back to the camera. Behind them, devotees in white ritual dress and lanyards sit on the floor, and orange triangular banners hang along the wall. A woman in a pink-and-white sari stands at the left edge. The seated figure has long dark hair and swept-back hair consistent with a saffron-clad guru, with distinctive orange robes and a flower garland, so the identification is probable.

He rests his hands on the golden armrests and smiles. Brass oil lamps with peacock-shaped tops stand on either side of the throne.
