July 07 20172017-07-07A photograph of a ritual exchange in a temple-like interior. On the right, a bare-chested man with long dreadlocked hair, a tilak on his forehead, layered gold and coral beaded necklaces, a coral bangle and an orange-red cloth draped over his shoulder raises his hand in blessing toward a bald, bare-chested older man on the left, who kneels with palms pressed together and an orange shawl and rudraksha mala around his neck. Between them stands a small brass deity murti and a brass oil lamp. Several robed attendants in orange and saffron wraps stand in the background. Swamiji (probable): the man on the right has long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklaces, coral adornments and an orange-red cloth, matching the appearance cues for the page's Swamiji.2017-07-07July 07 20172017-07-07May 05 20142014-05-05August 08 20172017-08-08 +1 copiesAugust 11 20172017-08-11May 05 20142014-05-05A photograph of a long-haired man in a rust-red dhoti with a rudraksha mala and gold necklace, his forehead marked with white and a central bindu, raising his right hand to touch the shaved head of a bald devotee in an orange-red shawl.
