A dirt-path procession moves through dry scrubland past bare trees. Men and women in white dhotis and saris, many with rudraksha malas, carry blue poles supporting a colourful, embroidered canopy with a decorative valance and hanging orange and red tassels. Beneath the canopy walks a figure in white and yellow robes with a garland of flowers, while a man in white with a red shawl carries a woven basket topped with green leaves and flowers. Additional devotees in saffron and white follow behind. Some people appear in orange and saffron garments. Their procession suggests a ratha/palanquin-style ceremonial walk.
