In the foreground a young priest in white dhoti and shawl with a gold-and-yellow border sits cross-legged before a square fire pit of yellow brick, flames rising from it, with hands pressed together in prayer and a gold necklace over his bare chest. Behind him sits a bald man wearing glasses and a white garment, in front of an ornate gold throne-like chair with carved scrollwork. Brass vessels, silver trays, a kalasha-like pot, yellow flower petals and a bundle of wrapped items sit on the orange floor.
