August 21 20062006-08-21August 02 20082008-08-02A photograph of a temple corridor at night, with stone pillars and hanging lamps overhead. At centre, a man in a saffron-orange robe and a large garland of yellow and red flowers walks forward, with a gold pendant necklace and a tilak mark on his forehead; he has shorter hair and is not shown with the long swept-back hair or crown of the typical depiction. He is flanked by devotees in orange shawls and white dhotis and shirts, one carrying an orange cloth, and a man in a white shirt and dhoti with a white forehead mark stands at the right edge. Several other people in white and orange follow behind in the crowded procession. Given the uncertain appearance, the central figure is treated as a devotee in a procession rather than a confirmed identification.2008-08-02A photograph inside a temple corridor with stone pillars and a colourful painted ceiling. A group of men walks through a crowded passage. In the centre, a man with long dark hair wears a flower garland on his head, rust-red robes, a gold chain and a pendant, and smiles as he walks. Around him, men in orange saffron robes wear gold beaded necklaces and rudraksha malas, and one bald man carries a rudraksha mala. On the left, a young man in white kurta and white dhoti wears a rudraksha mala.2012-05-07August 21 20062006-08-21A photograph inside a stone-pillared temple hall with carved granite columns and a dim wooden ceiling. In the centre, a long-haired man in a saffron-orange robe with a rudraksha mala around his neck stands smiling, with hands folded in front of him; he appears to be Swamiji (probable) based on the long swept-back hair, saffron robe and rudraksha cues, and is in_person. To his right, a man in white with an orange shawl and a garland of white and red flowers stands beside a stone pillar. Around them, several men in white dhotis and shirts stand watching, one holding a yellow bag, and a bearded man in white with an orange shawl stands near the centre. Beyond them, an open doorway reveals palm trees and foliage.2006-08-21August 21 20062006-08-21August 06 20092009-08-06A nighttime procession inside a temple corridor with carved stone walls. At centre, a man with long dark wavy hair, a red bindi and a long rudraksha mala wears a saffron-orange robe with gold trim and walks with his hands clasped. Flanking him, two young men in saffron-orange robes with maroon shawls walk in step; the one on the left covers his mouth with his hand, and the one on the right has a red tilak. Behind them, devotees in white dhotis and shirts, some with white and red marks on their foreheads, follow closely. Gold bangles and a wristwatch are visible.2008-07-28May 22 20122012-05-22August 02 20082008-08-02May 07 20122012-05-07
