May 20 1989May 20 1989A photograph of a rocky, overgrown hillside with dense green shrubs, scattered reddish boulders, and a palm tree at the top. A narrow reddish dirt path winds up through the brush beside a thin wire fence. One lone person in a white shirt and light trousers stands partway up the slope near the fence, seen from a distance. No a person candidate is visible.2009-11-30A photo of a group walking single file along a narrow dirt path between a brick wall and overgrown green trees and shrubs. In the foreground, a man with dark shoulder-length hair wears a white kurta and a saffron-orange shawl draped over his shoulders, seen from behind. Beside him, a man in a white t-shirt with a small logo walks with his hands at his sides. Further ahead, several men in white kurtas and dhotis walk the path past corrugated sheet walls, small houses and a tarpaulin shelter. Laundry hangs over the brick wall at left.2007-03-03Three men in plain white dhotis and white shirts walk away from the camera along a narrow concrete path rising up a hillside. The man in front wears a white full-sleeved shirt, the middle figure is in white, and the rear figure in a white shirt and dhoti is carrying nothing visible. A thatched straw hut sits to the left among green shrubs, a pale yellow multi-storey building stands behind, and a low weathered stone wall lines the right side beside a small concrete slab cover. Bright overcast sky fills the top of the frame.A photograph of a barefoot figure in a saffron-orange shawl and dhoti, with long dark swept-back hair and a wooden walking staff, climbing a dirt path strewn with boulders. Beside him an older man in white shirt and white dhoti with orange borders wears a rudraksha-style mala and a wristwatch, while another white-clad attendant walks behind. Green shrubs and a white building with stairs and steps sit on the hillside above, with a few small figures near the structure. The saffron-clad figure appears to be Swamiji (probable), identified by long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a walking staff, and is shown in person climbing the hill.2006-09-23A group walks up a narrow dirt path lined with green trees and scattered litter, toward a town street with pale buildings and a yellow house. In front, a long-haired man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl wears a beaded rudraksha-style garland and walks barefoot. Beside him, another man in orange with a garland follows. Behind them, several older men in white shirts and white dhotis walk the path, one carrying a bag. On the right, a woman in a yellow sari stands near the street, and a man in blue is seen on the roadside. A small gray cement wall and a green gate appear at right.2011-05-17A photograph of a hillside landscape with dense green shrubs and trees in the foreground, a concrete-walled structure with a flat roof on the left, and a thatched hut with a dry-grass roof near the centre. Two people in white clothing walk along a narrow dirt path leading toward the hut. Behind them, reddish earth and scattered boulders rise up the slope, and a town of houses and palm trees spreads across the hillside beyond.A photograph taken at night of a barefoot man walking along a sandy path under leafy branches. He wears an orange-saffron robe draped over one shoulder and a long rudraksha mala around his neck, and his long dark hair falls past his shoulders. Behind him stands a red-brick structure, and a white-clad figure is partly visible at the left edge. The ground bears white kolam-style chalk drawings, and the scene is lit by a flash against the dark background.2006-12-23May 20 1989July 27 20082008-07-27September 23 20062006-09-23
