A photograph of a temple procession car, the ratha, with a red wooden frame and a canopy. Two copper-coloured utsava murti deity faces are visible, heavily decorated with layered garlands of white, yellow, pink and purple flowers, with red blossoms and a green leaf garland. Marigolds and petals cover the base of the cart. A man in an orange turban stands at the lower right, and a dark blurred figure is at the lower left. The page describes a Kalpataru darshan procession in the streets of Tiruvannamalai, but the scene itself shows only the decorated cart and deity figures, with no a person candidate visible.2018-01-16A red-pillared palanquin procession car decorated with heavy flower garlands in pink, purple, yellow and white, carrying two deity murti figures seated under the canopy. The murti wears a tall gold crown, gold jewellery and a dhoti-style cloth, and is heavily decorated with long garlands in orange, yellow, red, purple and white flowers arranged in layered rows around the backrest. Below, a purple silk cloth drapes the platform, with marigold flowers at the base. A second smaller murti is partly visible beside it on the left, and a standing figure in dark clothing appears at the far right edge.
