A photograph of a gilded murti pair seated side by side on a golden throne-like seat inside a temple shrine, framed by a large arch of multicoloured flower garlands in yellow, red, purple, green and white with blue-patterned blossoms. The figures wear jewelled gold ornaments, one wears a tall crown and the other a conical headdress, and a golden kalasha-like finial sits in front. Garlands drape the figures and a small deity figure stands at the left edge, with a bare-chested figure at the right edge. These are statues, so no living person is present, and no a person candidate is visibly identifiable.2016-12-23A photograph of a temple deity shrine, not a living gathering. Two gold-coloured murti figures are seated centrally on a throne-like seat, one wearing a tall gold crown with a red band and crescent, the other a golden headdress, both adorned with layered gold necklaces and jewelled ornaments. A third smaller gold figure stands to the left in red and gold clothing with a crescent-topped red headdress. Thick garlands of red, pink, yellow, green and white flowers frame the figures and an arched backdrop, and a green-and-gold metal lamp stand is at the right edge.2014-12-05July 22 20132013-07-22December 02 20162016-12-02December 23 20092009-12-23A photograph of two decorated deity murtis, a male figure in blue with a red-orange turban and gold crown-like ornaments, holding a golden pot and a wooden stick, and a female figure in orange-gold silk with a tall gold crown and golden hand raised, both framed by a dense arrangement of garlands in red, yellow, purple, white and green flowers against a gold ornate backdrop. Both are golden-faced statues, not living people.2013-07-02July 22 20132013-07-22December 12 20162016-12-12December 05 20142014-12-05A photograph of a temple shrine decorated with dense garlands of marigolds and flowers in red, orange, yellow, purple and white, arranged in arched frames. Two gilded deity murti stand at centre: the left figure wears an orange turban and a jewelled crown, the right figure a golden crown, both with gold necklaces and earrings. A tall gold kalasha or lingam-like ritual vessel stands before them, draped with a garland. To the right, a smaller gilded figure with raised hands and a rudraksha mala is shown in orange robes beneath an ornate golden arch; it is a statue, not a living person. A gold-trimmed ritual platform and teal cloth complete the altar. No living people are visible.2013-11-02March 03 20112011-03-03A gilded shrine inside a temple, lit by brass oil lamps on tall stands. At the centre a Shiva lingam wrapped in garlands of white flowers and red and yellow marigolds sits beneath a silver kalasha. Behind it are gold-faced deity murtis: a figure with a crown and tall headdress on the left, and a seated goddess in a crown and floral garland on the right. A gold ceremonial pole crosses above. Flanking figures include a statue in green and white robes and a bearded statue in a maroon turban, all decorated with jewelled necklaces. No living people are visible.2021-05-17
