A woman in a white sari with a gold border and a jasmine garland in her hair stands at left, reaching toward a golden deity murti seated on a throne. The murti wears a red and gold crown, a gold-embroidered garment, layered jewelled necklaces and earrings, and holds a staff in one hand. Behind it are arches of yellow and magenta flower garlands and dark green leaves. Silver lamps and a silver peacock-shaped vessel stand in the foreground, with a brass kalasha and a tray of fruit and flowers at left. The setting appears to be a temple shrine during an abhishekam or puja. No person is identified as a person.2010-01-02A photograph of a temple ritual at a gilded shrine. A man with long dark hair, wearing a white dhoti with a gold-bordered cloth and a white flower garland, reaches forward with his right hand to touch the head of a gold-coloured deity murti. The murti wears a tall gold crown, layered jewelled necklaces, large earrings and gold armlets, and sits beside a smaller gold figure in an orange garment and crown. Behind them are yellow, red and green flower garlands and a gilded arched frame. At the lower right stands a silver lamp, and at the lower left are offerings of green fruit and marigold garlands. The man's face is not visible, and his appearance is not clear enough to support a person identification.2010-01-01A photograph of a golden deity murti pair decorated for worship, with two gilded figures seated side by side on a draped red and maroon backdrop. Both wear gold crowns, ornate jewelled necklaces and gold armour-like arm pieces. A bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a golden border and a white flower garland stands at the left, one hand raised to touch the head of the figure in the front. Yellow, pink and purple flower garlands frame the arch behind them, and a silver swan-shaped vessel sits at the right edge.2010-01-01February 09 20122012-02-09December 28 20112011-12-28April 25 20182018-04-25 +1 copiesA photograph of a ceremonial stage with an ornate golden throne (peetha) framed by a flower-garland arch of yellow, orange, red and white blooms and a decorative patterned backdrop.
