December 01 20092009-12-01A seated man in an orange sleeveless garment and a thick red and pink flower garland receives a blessing as an elderly man in a white shirt and white dhoti with a maroon waistband bows forward and presses his hands near the seated man's head. Another person in white stands behind them in the background. The seated man's arm is raised touching the elderly man's head. Behind them is a gold-framed throne with ornate carvings and a red cushion, and a red and orange painted backdrop. A water bottle sits on the left edge.2010-01-02November 17 20092009-11-17 +1 copiesAugust 15 20102010-08-15August 16 20092009-08-16December 24 20092009-12-24July 02 20102010-07-02 +1 copiesA seated man in long dark hair and an orange sleeveless robe with a pink flower garland places his hand on the forehead of a devotee who bends forward with folded hands. The devotee wears a white shirt and white dhoti and a bangle. Behind them stand a young man in a light blue shirt with a pendant necklace, and a woman in a white sari with a yellow border. A gold-framed red throne with a maroon cushion and a tray of fruit and offerings are in view. Probable Swamiji (long swept-back hair, saffron robe, floral garland) is seated on the throne, giving blessings to the devotee.2010-01-10December 06 20092009-12-06A photograph of a seated figure on a gold-trimmed throne receiving a framed picture from an older man in white. The seated person wears an orange robe and is garlanded with red and pink flower garlands and white jasmine strands, with a small yellow flower offering nearby. The older man in a white shirt and dhoti with a maroon waist cloth leans forward holding the framed picture. A woman in white with a yellow shawl stands behind him, and a man with folded hands stands at the left edge. A small wooden tray holds offerings in the foreground, with a water bottle beside it. The setting is a pavilion with red and gold decor and palm foliage visible through open windows. Appearance cues on the seated figure (orange robe, garlands, gold throne) are consistent with the page's reference to a person, so this is a probable identification from clothing and setting only.2010-01-02 +2 copiesA seated man in an orange-saffron garment with a white jasmine garland and a red-and-white flower garland places his right hand on the crown of a shorter man's head while his left hand rests on the chest of a man in a white kurta. The garland-wearer has long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi and gold ornaments, and sits before a red-cushioned gold throne-like seat decorated with flowers. The man in white, with short dark hair, bows forward receiving the blessing. A partly visible person in white stands at the right edge, and a yellow curtain forms the backdrop. Swamiji (probable) is present in appearance, given his long hair, saffron clothing, ornate gold necklace and throne, and the page identifies Swamiji at this event. The scene shows a blessing or pada pooja-style ritual on a dais.2010-02-07February 15 20092009-02-15
