Night photograph of a crowded outdoor festival scene with many devotees pressing forward. In the centre, a bald, bespectacled man in an orange and saffron turban and orange shawl, wearing a white garland of flowers, stands with hands folded in a namaste greeting beside brass oil lamps lit on the ground. Several uniformed police officers in khaki stand nearby. Other people wear white kurtas, saris in red, orange and blue, and one man in a white dhoti. A tall rusted metal pole with a coiled wire wrap rises in the foreground beside a large yellow floral canopy. An orange flag with a white Om symbol hangs at the lower right. Green lights illuminate the trees above, and a banner with a portrait hangs in the background.

A crowded temple procession inside a South Indian temple hall with stone pillars and hanging saffron and yellow decorative cloths. In the centre, a man with long dark hair wears a saffron-orange robe, a multi-strand gold-and-beaded garland, and gold armbands, with his hands folded in front of him. Beside him, a bald man in an orange robe wears a long gold-toned pendant necklace, and a second bald man in orange wears a similar garland. A bare-chested man in the foreground wears a rudraksha-style mala and a red mark on his forehead. Many devotees in white shirts and dhotis, and women in saris, press around them. A banana plant and a palm-leaf decoration hang overhead.

Night street procession in a crowded lane lit by string lights and illuminated temple chariot in the background. At the centre, a bearded man in an orange-brown robe wears a large white and multicoloured flower garland and has white tripundra markings on his forehead; he is surrounded and held by many devotees. Around him, a bald man in a white dhoti and shirt, men in white shirts, a man in a saffron-yellow shawl, and women in dark and blue saris press close. Shuttered shops line the right side of the street. Visible physical people number roughly 20 to 30, and the identity of the central figure is uncertain from appearance alone.

Night festival crowd at a decorated temple or street venue, hung with orange and yellow marigold garlands and green leafy festoons. Nearby a man in white with an orange shawl stands beside a brass kalasha-style pot holding pink flowers, and devotees in white and orange raise their hands toward a handheld microphone. Many people in white dhotis and shirts crowd the scene, some holding small offering trays or decorated vessels aloft.

Night crowd scene in a busy Indian street or temple approach lit by bright white street lamps. Dense crowds of men, many shaved-headed or wearing saffron and orange shawls, rudraksha malas and white cloth, press forward past stone walls and market stalls. Several saffron-clad sadhus and devotees with bare shoulders are prominent in the foreground, one wearing a dark rudraksha necklace over an orange wrap. Yellow banners and shop signs line the background, and a shrine structure rises at the centre. No individual can be identified as a person with sufficient cues.
