A tall figure with long, swept-back dark hair and a flowing saffron-orange robe stands at left, facing a group of children and women who are gathered closely together. A young boy in a light green shirt and white pants presses his palms together in front of his chest, and a girl in a white top and orange skirt wears a red-and-brown mala beside him. Several women wear salwar kameez in pink, blue, and red tones, and an older woman in a blue shawl stands near the centre. A woman in a red-and-orange sari at right holds a plant. In the foreground, a small black stone shivalinga with red and yellow flower offerings sits on a raised concrete plinth beside a freshly dug planting bed. A few grey pigeons are visible on the ground.2008-09-24February 12 20072007-02-12 +1 copies
