KAILASA LATIN AMERICA on 11/2/20212021-11-02KAILASA LATIN AMERICA on 11/2/20212021-11-02May 12 20122012-05-12A black-and-white photograph of a seated man in meditation pose on a patterned carpet before a wall, with potted plants at the sides. He wears a crown-like headdress, multiple strands of rudraksha malas, a large ornate pendant, a draped shawl over a bare upper body, and armbands. His hands rest on his knees with eyes closed. Only one physical person is visible. Identity is not established from appearance; the page excerpt names a person, but the figure's cues are an appearance-based candidate with several distinctive adornments (crown, rudraksha malas, ornate pendant, shawl), so this is a probable depiction-style candidate photographed in person.2012-05-11A framed black-and-white photograph of a seated man displayed behind glass, shown as a printed portrait mounted on a white board. The seated figure wears a tall ornate cap, a shawl over a light cloth, multiple strands of large rudraksha beads, a bead bracelet and a pendant, and holds a mala. He sits on a patterned carpet before potted plants, with white urns and a vase in front. Printed caption below the portrait reads Madurai Aadheenam, 290th Gurumahasannidhanam, Sri La Sri Swaminatha Sri Jnanasambanda Desika Paramacharya Swamigal. Reflections of the viewer appear on the glass. Only the printed portrait is pictured, with no physical people in the scene.2021-11-06KAILASA LATIN AMERICA on 11/6/20212021-11-06KAILASA LATIN AMERICA on 11/6/20212021-11-06A black-and-white photograph mounted on a weathered cardboard board shows a seated Shaivite religious leader in front of an ornate patterned backdrop. He wears a white forehead band, a rudraksha mala and layered beaded necklaces, and a draped cloth over his bare upper body. Brass or silver ritual vessels and a small bowl sit before him. Tamil caption text is printed below the photo, identifying the Madurai Aadheenam and a numbered guru lineage seat. The board appears to be a display or historical reproduction, and the photo itself is a depiction, not a live scene.2012-05-12A framed photograph photographed at an angle in a dimly lit room, showing a black-and-white image of a seated robed man with a light forehead mark and layered beaded necklaces, holding a small object in his hand. Behind him is a patterned carpet and a potted plant, and in front are several white ceremonial pots and vessels on a low ledge. The matted print below carries a stylised caption labelled as Madurai Aadheenam, 290th Gurumahasannidhanam, Sri La Sri Swaminatha Sri Jnanasambandha Sri Paramacharya Swamigal. Other framed artwork and gold fabric are visible at the edges. The print is a depiction of a seated religious figure, not a live person, and no physical people are in the scene.2021-11-06A framed vintage black-and-white photograph displayed on a white cloth. The framed print shows a seated young boy with a shaved head, bare torso, a pearl-style beaded necklace, and white markings on his arms, chest and face, sitting cross-legged on a large spiky shell-like mat. The photo is mounted in a cream card with a green and gold decorative border. Handwritten Tamil text appears at the top of the card, and a handwritten name is written at the bottom. A small printed studio label is in the lower right corner. No people are physically present in the scene; the figure appears only in the printed photograph.2011-10-24May 12 20122012-05-12February 06 20172017-02-06
