A temple-style ritual room with brick walls and a corrugated roof. A seated priest in a red-orange garment and a garland, with a white tilak on his forehead, raises an arm toward a brass lamp stand while an assistant in a white dhoti with a bare chest stands beside him. A woman in a white sari with gold border sits on the floor at the front left, her long dark braid over her shoulder, with a kumkum mark on her arm, and a woman in a maroon sari kneels nearby holding a yellow cloth. Other bare-chested young men in white dhotis with sacred threads move about. A seated man at the right wears a yellow head cloth and a garland, with a striped mat underneath, and a bouquet of yellow flowers sits in front on the floor. A framed chart hangs on the wall behind.

A photograph of a ritual inside a small room with exposed brick walls. A seated priest in an orange-red garment with a long beaded necklace and white forehead marks sits on a striped mat beside a brass oil lamp with a lit flame. A devotee in white dhoti kneels and bows toward the lamp. A woman in an orange blouse and red sari sits nearby, and a man with bare upper body and white markings stands on the right in white dhoti holding a yellow cloth bag. A blue sign with multilingual text on the wall lists prohibited items such as photography and mobile phones. A metal detector frame stands in the background.

Indoor ritual in a brick room with a wall board of Tamil-labelled categories beside a small red-lit lamp and a brass lamp stand. A bearded man with a saffron cloth and beaded mala sits on a striped mat receiving attention from a woman in a red sari with orange blouse and gold-coloured wrap, while a shirtless man in white dhoti bends low before him. On the left a bare-chested man in white and gold-bordered cloth sits with white markings on his arm and a beaded band, and several standing men in white dhotis and orange cloths watch. Marigold flowers, leaves and fruit lie on a plate in front, and a pink-flowered cloth hangs over a stool.

Indoor temple-hall scene with red carpet and maroon curtains. A seated figure on the right wears orange-brown cloth, a long-haired crown-less head, rudraksha mala, gold-patterned cloth on his lap, and holds a small round fruit or offering while a young boy in white kurta offers another item. Beside them a young man in white kurta and rudraksha mala watches. Behind, standing people in white shirts and kurtas, one with a lanyard, and an older man in white. A standing priest on the left wears white dhoti and shawl with rudraksha beads. A brass oil lamp stands on the right. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure with long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala and orange cloth, so swamiji is in_person.

A photograph of an energy darshan during an Inner Awakening session. A seated boy in a white dhoti-style cloth and a pendant necklace, eyes closed, receives a blessing as a bearded man with long dreadlocked hair, wearing a white garland of pink and white flowers and a bracelet of red thread, presses his hand to the boy's forehead. Around them, participants in white kurtas and white clothing stand and sit, with a crowd further back. The boy holds a small card or booklet in his hand.

A photograph of a ritual initiation in a temple-style hall. A bare-chested boy with short black hair sits with eyes lowered, wearing a gold-coloured chain and a small amulet case on a cord. A man seated on a gold-trimmed throne, with long dreadlocked hair, a beard, a pink-and-white flower garland and a rust-coloured garment, places his hand on the boy's head and holds a white sacred thread over him. Two boys in white dhotis stand to the left, one bare-chested with a rudraksha-style cord, and an attendant in rust-coloured cloth stands behind. A gold lion-headed figure and a golden stand are visible at the edges. The man's appearance shows several cues for a person, including long dreadlocks, a flower garland, a rust garment and a throne, so the seated figure is a person giving an initiation to a disciple.
