A yellow JCB backhoe loader with a wide front bucket dominates the left, its cab showing a driver in blue and pink clothing. Four men stand to the right: one in a blue-and-white striped shirt and khaki trousers holds a long tool, another in a yellow polo shirt and cap holds a tool, and two others in white and grey shirts and jeans stand nearby. Grey paving slabs are being laid on pale dusty ground, and a pink plastic basin sits on the slabs. Trees, a red boundary wall and a rocky embankment are behind.2016-10-28September 16 20162016-09-16Photo 11698180September 16 20162016-09-16A construction site on open sandy ground where workers are laying large grey granite slabs in a paved area. Several labourers in mostly plain shirts, shorts and lungis use long-handled tools and hand tools to set and level the stones; one man in a white shirt and green checked lungi bends over the slabs. An orange JCB-style backhoe loader with an ACE 12XW crane arm stands in the background beside stacked stone slabs, under a pale hazy sky with trees and a partially built red-brick building on the left. No a person candidate is visible and the image shows no ritual or event.2016-10-26 +1 copiesOutdoor construction work at an ashram-style compound with red-painted buildings and green metal roofs. A yellow mobile crane with a boom lifts a stone slab from a blue flatbed trailer towed by a red and white tractor. A man in an orange shirt stands on the trailer load of stone, while a worker in a dark top and a man in a striped shirt stand nearby. Stacks of cut stone paving slabs line a path, and a man in white shirt and dark trousers walks in the background.2016-09-08Photo 11697676 +2 copiesOutdoor construction scene on a campus. Four men work on a paved area of large flat grey stone slabs laid over sand and cement. A bent-over worker in a checked lungi and head cloth presses slabs; a younger man in a striped green-and-navy sweater carries a flat tray; a man in a pink checked shirt and grey trousers stands holding a tray; an older man in a white head wrap and light blue shirt watches. Behind them is a three-storey red-orange building with split air-conditioning units on its balconies, a few trees, and a green bin on the left. A bare-footed worker stands on the stone at the right. No deity, ritual or discourse is visible.2016-09-01September 01 20162016-09-01November 16 20062006-11-16
