Indoor hall with a pale pink wall and tiled floor, showing a ritual preparation for a dhwajarohanam flag ceremony. Two older men in white dhotis and white shirts stand side by side with hands folded, facing the offering set. A woman in a deep red-orange sari stands to the right near a metal railing. In the foreground on a metal tray are fruit, flower garlands in yellow and red, coconut halves, banana bunches, betel leaves, and a bundle of coiled rope and straw. Blue tape marks lines on the floor over woven mats. Framed photographs hang on the upper wall above the doorway. Two men are physically present, and the woman is the third person.2013-12-18December 26 20082008-12-262003 - Sacred collection UncategorizedOctober 17 20102010-10-17Photograph inside a plain white-walled hall with ceiling fans and a wooden platform in the foreground. A large group of men, many in white dhotis and white shirts, stands with palms pressed together in anjali mudra, appearing to offer prayer. A man in the front centre is shaved-headed and wears a white dhoti with a gold-trimmed cloth and a sacred thread, and a woman in white stands at the left. Small oil lamps sit on the floor near the platform edge. A man in a grey shirt stands at the left by a door. The scene suggests a devotional gathering or puja, but no specific ritual is clearly identified.2011-12-08August 02 20092009-08-02A photograph of a covered open-air ritual hall with a corrugated metal roof and steel trusses. Many people stand in rows, mostly men in white dhotis and white shirts, some wearing orange or saffron shawls over white clothing, with a few women in white sarees with gold borders. Several people with folded hands face a ceremonial space where a figure in orange robes stands at right beside a stone-and-metal area with a kalasha-type vessel, marigold and jasmine garlands, and brass bowls. Square white-painted brick enclosures on the floor hold small brass dishes of offerings, fruit, flowers and leaves on woven mats. Hanging floral strings decorate the ceiling beams, and palm trees show outside. The scene looks like a puja or ritual gathering.2006-12-26February 25 2009 Nithyananda Spurana Convention2009-02-25A wedding ceremony in a whitewashed hall with painted pillars decorated with flowers and bird motifs. Seated in white plastic chairs, a woman in a red sari with gold border sits at left, beside an elderly man in white dhoti and shirt, then a man in white dhoti and shirt wearing flower garlands, and an older woman in a white sari. At right, a bride in orange sari with flower garland and jewellery sits behind a brass tray. A standing man in white shirt and dhoti with garland holds a small object. Brass plates hold oranges, apples, flowers and a silver lamp on a teal cloth, and a crowd of onlookers stands behind.2007-02-15A photograph of an open-sided ritual hall under a corrugated roof, with a pillared red-curtained shrine at right. In the centre, a man in white dhoti and shirt with a yellow shawl stands with palms pressed together before a brass vessel of flames, with plates of fruit, flowers and small bowls spread on a mat in front. A second man in white with a yellow cloth stands beside him. About a dozen people in white clothes stand along the back wall, several children among them, some with hands folded. A red and orange garland decorates the shrine seat, and a deity murti stands near the curtain. The setting suggests a padapuja or aarti offering.2009-12-29April 17 20172017-04-17Outdoor temple-style offering preparation on a white-draped table with marigold and red flower garlands, folded white and red cloth, bananas, oranges, coconuts, mango-like fruit, nuts, and small steel bowls. A man in an orange wrap with a large gold-bead necklace stands centrally, with several men in white dhotis and orange shawls nearby, one with a tilak on his forehead.
