April 07 20122012-04-07A white marble murti of a seated sage in a lavender turban and lavender shawl, with a red bindi, silver and beaded necklaces, and one raised hand in abhaya mudra. Yellow and magenta flower garlands frame the figure against gold and maroon brocade with a gold-embroidered backdrop. Brass bowls with offerings sit beside the statue and in front of it on a wooden table. This is a statue, not a living person, so the a person field marks a depiction of a deity-style sculpture rather than a living candidate.2012-04-07December 17 20112011-12-17September 25 20112011-09-25September 09 20112011-09-09A white marble statue of a seated sage with a red bindi on the forehead, wearing a white turban and white shawl, raising one hand in blessing.
