July 17 20082008-07-17Indoor photo of a devotee offering a white tray of sweets to a seated figure in orange robes with long, curly dark hair and a gold necklace, reaching out to take the offering. Standing beside them, a man in white kurta and white dhoti wears a rudraksha mala and a wristwatch and looks down toward the exchange. Other men in orange and white clothing stand behind, and a woman in an orange shawl and gold bangles sits in the foreground, with a child in a red and blue cap at her side. Gold cloth and a flowered textile appear at the bottom edge.2008-07-17July 17 20082008-07-17Photograph in a hall at night showing a long-haired man in saffron-orange unstitched robes and a rudraksha mala, hands in a gesture of address, standing before two men in white shirts with palms pressed together in namaste; one has a lanyard and gold bracelet. A shaved-headed priest in orange dhoti with a gold necklace stands at right beside a tray holding fruit and a rudraksha mala. Orange draped fabric and floral decorations hang in the background. Several other people stand behind. The long-haired man with rudraksha mala and saffron robes matches the Swamiji candidate cues, so he is described as Swamiji (probable).2010-11-23July 17 20082008-07-17A long-haired figure in a saffron-orange shawl wrapped over the shoulders and multiple gold-beaded rudraksha-style necklaces stands at the centre, extending a folded white paper or prasadam to a row of men in white shirts and white dhotis with hands folded in greeting. Behind him a shaved-headed attendant in a saffron cloth and beaded necklace stands by a tray of fruit, and an older man in white with an orange shawl is visible at right. The setting is an indoor hall with a projection screen and blue drapery. The central figure matches the probable Swamiji appearance cues of swept-back long hair, saffron clothing and ceremonial beads, and is presented as the one giving prasadam to devotees.2011-02-27A seated man with long dark hair wears a sleeveless saffron-orange garment and a long rudraksha mala, and sits on a white-draped seat before a temple shrine. A man in white shirt and dark trousers leans forward, holding his hands together and clasping the seated man's hand. Behind them, two attendants in orange kurtas and a priest in white with a yellow shawl and rudraksha mala stand near a wooden tray holding offerings, packets and a flower. Brass lamps, kalasha vessels and a red-and-gold shrine sit on the stone platform behind. The seated figure is an appearance-based probable Swamiji with long hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha cues, shown receiving a devotee.2010-06-13July 17 20082008-07-17A photograph of a ritual blessing in a temple-like hall. A long-haired man in an orange saffron robe with a gold-toned necklace, rudraksha-style beaded malas, and gold armlets places his right hand on the head of a seated, bespectacled older man in a white shirt. The orange-robed figure holds a folded white paper in his left hand and smiles. Behind them, priests in white dhotis and orange garments stand, a decorated altar with a red throne-like seat glows in the background, and a tray of small objects sits at lower right. Swamiji (probable): the long, swept-back hair, saffron robe, ornate gold necklace and beaded malas fit the page's Swamiji attribution, so this is an appearance-based candidate.2012-04-14A photograph of a ceremonial moment at a festival crowd. A central figure with long swept-back dark hair, a white tripundra forehead marking, a saffron/orange robe and heavy gold necklaces with a large pendant wears a saffron garment and extends his arm toward a tray of rudraksha beads and bananas held by a man in orange with gold beads. Swamiji (probable) is the central figure with long hair, saffron robe and ornate gold necklaces. Behind them a man in white with a rudraksha mala watches, and devotees in white and yellow saris and kurtas press close, some with hands folded. A man in the foreground holds a conch-shaped vessel and a bowl of fruit and marigold garlands.2008-12-23Night outdoor darshan at an open-air event with floodlights and orange bunting behind a crowd. In the foreground, a figure in an orange turban, bare-shouldered orange robe and long dark hair leans forward to bless a smiling man in white kurta with a rudraksha mala, who bows his head with hands held together. To the left, a young man in white with a long ponytail and a red-orange shawl rests a hand on the devotee's shoulder. Behind them, men in white and pink shirts watch, and a young man in orange robes stands at right beside a tray of fruit, flowers and garlands.2010-02-17A photograph of a darshan line at an indoor ashram hall with coloured fabric hangings overhead. A man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with gold trim and layered gold necklaces, smiles broadly as he raises his hand to bless the forehead of a devotee. The devotee, in a white kurta with a light cord, presses palms together and smiles. To the right, a bald man in orange robes holds a silver tray with offerings. Other devotees in white and orange clothing stand in line, and a woman in a yellow-and-purple patterned top stands at the left edge. The long-haired man has distinctive saffron and gold-necklace cues consistent with the page's Swamiji reference, so he is identified as a probable candidate; he is physically present.2011-01-29
