A temple-style hall decorated for a festival, with a man in a brown saffron-toned robe and a flower garland standing at left holding a silver tray of flowers while walking barefoot on red carpet. At right, a richly decorated deity murti sits on a golden throne-like seat draped in orange and gold cloth, covered in layers of yellow, orange, white and red flower garlands. Silver oil lamps stand along the foreground, banana leaves and a yellow flower canopy hang above, and a second decorated murti and an arched gold-framed shrine appear in the background. Petals are scattered on the floor. The man's appearance does not clearly match a candidate for the page's named figure, so he is described by role only.2016-12-19December 19 20162016-12-19December 19 20162016-12-19December 19 20162016-12-19December 19 20162016-12-19A photograph of a temple shrine during an abhishekam-style ritual. A large deity murti is seated at the center, dressed in orange and pink cloth and heavily garlanded with multicolored flower chains of yellow, orange, white and purple. Gold-framed niches flank the shrine; a smaller standing figure on the right wears green drapery, a red-orange cloth and a garland. On the left, four priests in orange and saffron dhotis, one bare-chested with rudraksha-style beads, stand near a tray of offerings; one holds a plate. Yellow flower petals are scattered on the stone floor.2016-12-27A man with long dreadlocked hair and a beard, wearing a rust-brown saffron-toned robe and a pale pink and white flower garland, stands barefoot on a red carpet and performs worship at a richly decorated altar. He holds a ceremonial lamp and a small implement in his hands. Before him sits a golden throne-like seat draped in yellow silk and heaped with marigold, rose and white jasmine garlands. Behind it, a large deity murti with a crown is adorned with flowers. A black stone figure stands to the left, and a silver oil lamp and silver offering trays are placed on the floor. Scattered petals cover the carpet, and a green banana plant and yellow floral arches frame the setting.2016-12-19December 19 20162016-12-19December 23 20162016-12-23October 04 20112011-10-04December 19 20162016-12-19A deity murti of a South Indian temple form is seated on a green cloth inside an ornate shrine arch with green-and-yellow painted columns and a pink tiled roof. The murti is heavily decorated with garlands of yellow, white, pink and purple flowers, with a large floral arc of orange and white marigolds behind it. Two wooden poles rest on the platform in front, used for carrying the palanquin. Oil lamps and a pillar with a metal rail are visible in the background; a few partially visible people stand at the edges of the frame. A date stamp reads 28 November 2022 9:36 am.2022-11-28
