A photograph of a seated man wearing a rust-red turban, rust-red robe with gold bangles and layered gold necklaces, and multiple garlands of white and red flowers. He sits on an ornate gold throne with a large gold sunburst backdrop, adorned with white floral garlands and colourful tassels, and rests his hands on a low wooden stand. Beside him, a younger man in an orange-saffron cloth with a shaved head and sacred markings sits and looks toward him. Flowers and a metal vessel lie on the lower left. Appearance is consistent with a person seated on the throne with a turban, gold ornaments and garlands.2016-05-21November 19 20152015-11-19A man seated on an ornate golden palanquin or ratha raises his right arm and smiles broadly while a cameraman films beside him. He wears a rust-orange turban, a saffron-orange robe, a multi-strand rudraksha mala, heavy gold ceremonial necklaces and gold bangles, with a garland of white flowers and pink roses across his chest. Red and blue cushions and a golden halo-like backdrop surround him, and a film camera is visible at right. A young shaven-headed priest in saffron-orange cloth sits beside the seat at lower right, and flower petals cover the platform. Multiple devotees are visible at the edge of the frame. The scene appears to be a procession or ceremonial appearance.2016-05-21November 16 20152015-11-16July 05 20132013-07-05October 07 20132013-10-07July 12 20132013-07-12 +1 copiesJuly 07 20172017-07-07 +3 copiesNovember 08 20132013-11-08October 26 20152015-10-26September 09 20152015-09-09 +1 copiesA smiling man sits on an ornate gold throne with intricate repoussé carvings and a plush red cushion.
