A man in a procession stands with palms pressed together in namaste, eyes closed, in front of an elaborate golden chariot. He wears an ornate gold crown with a green stone and red accents, a sacred red bindi and white tripundra marks on his forehead, white paste bands on his upper arms, gold armlets and bracelets, and a heavy gold necklace over a brown-red garment layered with rudraksha-style beads. Behind him are gold-embossed panels, flower garlands with pink and teal tassels, and a crowd in the blurred background. The swami identity is not visible in the image itself; the person is shown in an appearance-based context of ceremonial devotional worship during a festival procession.2016-05-21February 17 20152015-02-17 +1 copiesA person with closed eyes and palms pressed together in anjali mudra stands beneath a canopy of tassels and flower garlands. They wear an ornate gold crown with a jewelled centre, gold bangles, a gold earring, and a red garment under a garland of pink and white flowers with gold-threaded trim. A bindi and white forehead markings are visible. The setting is outdoors. The ceremonial gold headdress and garlands suggest a temple or procession ritual context.2015-02-17 +1 copiesDecember 21 20132013-12-21May 27 20132013-05-27A smiling man seated on a golden throne-like chariot under a richly decorated canopy hung with white jasmine garlands and pink and teal tassels.
