He wears an orange-red patterned turban, a maroon dhoti-style garment with gold borders, layered beaded necklaces with a gold pendant, and red-and-gold bangles. A tall gold-carved backdrop shows a large glowing deity murti with a halo and red radiating rays. A silver trident stands at the right edge and a potted plant sits beside the throne.2015-05-15May 15 20152015-05-15 +1 copiesMay 12 20152015-05-12A smiling man in a saffron-orange turban and matching saffron robes stands on a stage with both palms raised in greeting. He wears layered rudraksha malas and a large ceremonial gold-bead necklace, and a red bindi marks his forehead. Beside him a tall silver trident rests upright. Behind him is an ornate gold throne with red velvet cushions and a leopard-print throne cover, set against a glowing starburst backdrop with a deity silhouette. Brass oil lamps and a silver bowl of pink flowers sit in the foreground. Swamiji (probable): the robed figure with turban, rudraksha malas and gold-bead necklace is standing before the throne and greeting the assembly.2015-05-09May 12 20152015-05-12A smiling man in a rust-orange turban and orange dhoti-style robe with gold border stands before an ornate gold throne with carved lion and cobra motifs, a red tiger-striped cushion, and a gold canopy. He raises both hands palms-out above his head, and wears a rudraksha mala and a gold necklace with a pendant. A microphone stand is at the right edge. Swamiji (probable): the figure wears rudraksha malas, a turban and ceremonial gold necklaces on a gold throne, consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji speaking at this event. Only one physical person is visible; the throne and carvings are not people.2016-01-23November 11 20152015-11-11A smiling man seated on an ornate gold throne with a gilded canopy of hanging leaf-shaped ornaments, raising both palms in greeting. He wears a deep red-brown turban with a white feather and jewelled brooch, a red-brown robe with a gold-yellow sash, a gold pendant on a brown rope necklace, and long garlands of pink flowers and white jasmine. Velvet cushions and a tiger-stripe cloth rest on the throne, a gold trident stands at right, and rose petals are scattered at his feet. Swamiji (probable): the turban, flower garlands, saffron-red robes and throne with trident suggest the presence of Paramahamsa Nithyananda, a seated spiritual teacher being honoured.2015-10-16January 23 20162016-01-23October 15 20152015-10-15
