Night outdoor satsang on a green mat under string lights, with a white pedestal cooler and a potted palm. A long-haired man with a bare chest and an orange-red cloth draped over his body sits on a gold and red throne with a gilded lion-head armrest, hands folded in namaste, smiling, with a garland of white flowers and a red-orange garland around his neck. Seated on the mat before him are devotees: a woman in white with a gold border holding folded hands, a woman in a white sari with a red-embroidered blouse holding a small plate, a man in white dhoti with rudraksha beads, and a woman in a white sari with gold border nearby. A plate of white flowers sits before the throne, and a row of white-clad devotees and onlookers sits behind.2015-05-05May 05 20122012-05-05Outdoor evening ritual on a green mat under lights. A bare-chested man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing an orange saffron wrap, a red-orange and white garland, sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne with carved lion heads and a leopard-print cloth, his feet resting on a bed of white flowers. Before him, a woman in white with a red border sits with hands together while a woman in a white sari with gold border holds a brass plate with flowers and offerings. A man in a white dhoti and a woman in a gold-bordered sari sit nearby, and several devotees in white and yellow saris and dhotis sit on the green floor behind, some with folded hands. In the foreground, a long-haired figure in an orange-red wrap sits on a red-draped seat beside a large gold-plated bull (Nandi) figure, facing a green-carpeted stage. Nearby, women in white saris with gold borders sit on the green stage, one wearing a rudraksha mala and another with flowers in her hair; men in white and a man in a red shirt sit among them. A cameraman operates a camera on a tripod and a stage speaker stands nearby. A figure with long hair and an orange-red wrap appears to be a person seated on the throne-like seat, with visible long hair, orange-red clothing and a rudraksha-style bead necklace. Wall-mounted fan and string lights are visible.2015-05-05Outdoor evening satsang on a green mat. Devotees in white and cream traditional clothes, including a woman with a gold-bordered cream sari and a man in a white shirt, sit close by. A white cooling fan stands at right, and string lights hang over a dark garden with more people in the background. The seated man shows distinctive long hair, saffron-orange garments and garland cues, so the appearance-based label is Swamiji (probable), shown in person.2015-05-05 +2 copiesNight-time outdoor photo of a satsang or puja on a raised red-carpeted platform.
