Looking up at the interior ceiling of a large unfinished hall. White fabric draped in wavy folds covers the ceiling, held by dark horizontal and diagonal steel trusses. Many ceiling fans and round light fixtures hang from the beams. Plain concrete walls with small rectangular windows surround the space. No people are visible.

White fabric drapes are stretched across the ceiling in wavy swags, supported by a black corrugated steel roof with exposed grey steel purlins and trusses. A white vertical lattice truss runs diagonally across the frame. Two round white ceiling lights hang near the bottom edge beside tall windows in the pale wall. No people are visible.2010-01-16 +1 copiesNovember 18 20162016-11-18Interior of a large unfinished concrete hall being prepared for an event. White fabric drapes hang across the steel roof trusses and ceiling fans, and the bare grey walls have many window openings. The floor is polished and damp, with scattered boards, cardboard and pipes. In the centre, a few workers in white clothes stand near the back wall. A man on a ladder works at the left side, another man in a red shirt stands nearby, and a seated man in the foreground with his back to the camera faces the unfinished space. Metal framing and aluminium poles lean against the right wall.2009-12-28December 01 20092009-12-01 +2 copiesDecember 12 20072007-12-12January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesDecember 12 20072007-12-12Interior of a large white fabric-draped tent hall with a red carpet floor. Many rows of round tables with orange tablecloths and white chair covers are filled with seated attendees, mostly in colourful saris, kurtas and dark jackets, some looking toward the far end. Ceiling fans and white ceiling lights hang from wooden beams, and a few people walk along the aisles carrying bags. Attendees are dispersed across the hall, with a rough count of over twenty people visible.2016-12-01Night photograph inside a large tented pavilion with a white fabric canopy and dark draped valance overhead. Rows of ceiling fans hang from wires beneath the tent, and bright white floodlights are mounted on poles along the sides. In the foreground, a decorated vehicle with green and gold floral garlands and a gold ornamental top stands beside a crowd of people, several in white and light clothing, gathered at the lower edge of the frame. Only partially visible figures appear in the crowd.2016-04-16A large photograph of a dense crowd seated on the floor inside a big white tent with a blue-trimmed canopy. Many people in white and light-coloured clothing fill the frame, facing toward the stage area at the far end. Rows of ceiling fans hang beneath the white fabric roof, along with strings of orange and yellow decorations, and white support poles run through the crowd. Several bright lights are mounted on the poles. Banners and printed panels line the side walls. The crowd is too large and too far from the camera to pick out individual faces or identify any single person's role, so no one is identified as a particular presence.2007-12-11December 29 20092009-12-29
