He sits cross-legged on a plum velvet cushion, bare-chested, wearing a rust-red dhoti-style lower garment, layered rudraksha malas and a heavy gold ceremonial necklace with pendant. He has long swept-back black hair with a crescent ornament, white vertical forehead markings with a red bindi, and raises one hand in blessing while the other rests on the armrest. Appearance-based candidate: a person, with the throne, rudraksha malas and gold necklace as cues.2020-10-04March 25 20202020-03-25 +1 copiesMay 26 20202020-05-26A seated man in a silver-backed throne chair with ornate repoussé lion-head and floral motifs, set against a deep brown cosmic backdrop with stars and nebula glow. He sits cross-legged on a maroon velvet cushion, smiling, bare-chested, wearing a tall black turban, a white and tilak forehead marking, a dark red dhoti-style lower garment, a heavy gold necklace with a large gold pendant, gold bangles and rudraksha armbands. A silver side table and tall silver ceremonial staffs with a skull-and-serpent finial flank him. The visible cues of a saffron-free turban, rudraksha armbands and ceremonial gold necklace match the page's Swamiji reference, so this is an appearance-based probable depiction of Swamiji seated on his throne. A small printed label appears above the throne. He wears a large dark-hair topknot crowned with a small gold shivalinga-like ornament and rudraksha beads, a white forehead band with a red bindi, and layered gold necklaces, a gold ornamental pendant and multiple rudraksha malas. His right hand is raised in a blessing gesture and his left rests on his lap. Appearance cues include the topknot, sacred-thread style malas and ceremonial gold jewellery, so this is a person depiction; the figure is printed, not physically present. A small copyright line appears in the lower right.2019-10-05
