A man in a mustard-yellow polo shirt kneels with eyes closed and palms pressed together at his chest, wearing a wristwatch and a red thread on his wrist, a small red tilak on his forehead. A bare-shouldered robed figure in dark red-brown cloth with long dreadlocked hair reaches to touch his head in blessing, the figure wrapped in a flowered garland of red and green blossoms. Behind them stands a person in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala, and figures in white clothing stand in the background of an indoor hall with a patterned floor. A partly visible orange fruit sits at the bottom edge. The kneeling man is a devotee receiving blessing, and the blessing giver is a sannyasi.2017-02-02February 02 20172017-02-02July 23 20102010-07-23February 02 20172017-02-02A seated figure in an orange sleeveless garment and a long white-and-green flower garland places a hand on the head of a man kneeling on a red patterned rug, his palms pressed together in greeting. The kneeling man wears a white shirt, a rudraksha mala and a gold watch and smiles. Behind them, a woman in orange and a child in a yellow shirt stand near a wooden door, and a person in white with a yellow shawl stands at left. A tray of apples sits at the lower edge on a yellow cushion.2010-02-15Photograph of an indoor ritual on a green mat with scattered flower petals. A long-haired figure with bare upper torso, wearing a white and marigold garland and saffron cloth, reaches out and touches the forehead of a seated man in orange clothing with a rudraksha mala and a bracelet, whose palms are pressed together in namaste. Behind them, another man in orange sits on the floor, and a tripod stands near the scene. Orange-clad attendants and white-clad people are at the edges. Blessing or initiation-style gesture, possibly darshan.2006-06-04January 22 20102010-01-22A photograph of a devotee kneeling in a white shirt and holding a green lime or lemon in his raised right hand while a bare-chested figure with long dreadlocked hair and a full beard, wearing a white flower garland, touches his forehead with an outstretched hand. Behind them, several people stand, including a man in a red-brown robe with a rudraksha mala and beaded bracelets, and a man in a turquoise polo shirt with a visitor lanyard. A woman in the lower left is partly visible. The setting appears to be an indoor hall with a patterned floor mat and a blurred crowd. The figure with the garland and dreadlocks could be a person based on the dreadlocks, beard and flower garland, but this is uncertain. The gesture resembles a blessing given with a lime.2017-04-02July 23 20102010-07-23A photograph of a devotee with folded palms, wearing a cream kurta and a dark rudraksha mala, receiving a blessing as another person places a hand on his forehead. The blessing giver wears a saffron-orange garment and a garland of red and green flowers over the shoulders. Another partially visible figure stands behind the devotee against a dark background.2009-11-21December 10 20092009-12-10April 01 20122012-04-01
