January 11 20102010-01-11A photograph inside a small home shrine room. A person in a saffron-orange sleeveless top and a long garland of white jasmine and red flowers holds a lit brass oil lamp (aarti) toward a wooden cabinet door covered with small bells, stickers and framed deity pictures, including a temple gopuram image. Two devotees on the left stand with palms pressed together in namaste, one in a white shirt and one in a maroon-bordered sari. A woven basket sits on the floor and a sunflower arrangement is at the right, with a blue refrigerator beside it. The person holding the lamp has short dark hair and no crown, turban or rudraksha mala, so the appearance cues are insufficient to identify anyone as a person.2010-01-11 +1 copiesIndoor photograph of a domestic home shrine area.
