A man with long dark wavy hair sits on an ornate red and gold throne with a gilded arched back. He wears an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl and a long gold-beaded necklace, and is smiling. Behind him, devotees in white and cream ritual clothes stand with flower garlands, several holding red trays or cushions. A seated child in a blue shirt is at lower left, a man in white stands at right, and a red-carpeted floor and a wall with hanging garlands complete the setting. Swamiji (probable) is seated on the throne in saffron cloth and gold necklace, with the long hair and ornate saffron attire as cues; he is the only candidate and his appearance is consistent.2011-11-29A temple scene in which a white-clad priest, bare-chested with a sacred thread and white dhoti with striped border, holds a brass lamp with a lit flame toward a decorated palanquin draped with flower garlands and an orange cloth.
