Dimly lit indoor ceremony photographed from behind a pair of seated observers in the foreground. On a raised platform, a figure in orange and saffron robes sits near a red-draped seat with a gold-framed backdrop, while attendants in white clothing move around with ritual items. A woman in an orange sari and a woman in a white and gold border sari stand nearby, and a white-clad attendant holds an object near the platform. Purple and blue stage lights and a hanging striped cloth frame the scene. The setting suggests a puja or darshan gathering.

Attendants in white dhoti-style clothing stand around, one holding a metal vessel, while devotees in white with orange neck cloths sit in the foreground, one bald man in the left foreground and others bowed in prayer at right. Purple and red stage lights illuminate a spray or veil of light above.
