Low buildings and foliage occupy the foreground. No people are visible.2008-06-09A misty, forested mountainside rises under low grey cloud. Dense green trees cover the slope. On the right, a tall white multi-tiered shrine tower with pointed spires stands on a clearing on the hillside, with a small grey-roofed building beside it. There are no visible people in the scene.2008-06-28July 27 20122012-07-27A hazy, misty photograph of a wooded hilltop under a pale sky. Dense green trees fill the lower and middle frame, and a small multi-storey concrete building with a spire-like tower sits on the crest at right. Parked vehicles or small figures are barely visible on the slope near the building, too indistinct to identify. No people are clearly visible, and no ritual activity can be discerned.2014-01-13A misty hillside covered in dense green conifers and evergreen trees, with low grey cloud drifting across the steep slope on the left. A narrow patch of lighter green meadow runs up the mountainside, and a few thin utility poles stand among the trees. No people, ritual objects or buildings are visible; the scene is a quiet forest landscape under overcast skies.2011-08-07Misty hillside covered with dense green trees and scrub, with rocky outcrops visible through drifting fog near the summit. Pale overcast sky above and blurred yellow grass stalks in the lower left foreground. No people or ritual activity visible. This appears to be a landscape view of a hill, possibly a sacred hill of Tiruvannamalai, though no landmark is definitively identifiable from the image itself.2010-01-08
