August 03 20102010-08-03A smiling man with long dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead sits on an orange throne-like chair, wearing an orange saffron cloth wrap and bare feet resting on an orange cushion. He wears long garlands of white jasmine flowers and red roses with green leaves draped over his shoulders and down to his lap. Behind him stands a gilded deity murti in yellow and red silk robes with a golden pillar and offering vessels. A young boy in a yellow t-shirt and navy shorts stands at left, reaching toward the seated man.2010-07-06A seated man with long dark hair and a red bindi sits on an ornate gold throne with red zebra-striped cushions, hands pressed together in namaste and eyes closed. He wears an orange saffron robe with gold borders and a long white garland of flowers with green leaves. In front, a woman in a pink dupatta and white top bends forward holding a lit oil lamp (aarti) to his feet, while a boy in an orange kurta sits beside her watching. Silver vessels, a silver teapot and a bowl sit on a white cloth, and a tray of apples and beads rests on a wooden box at left. This appears to be an aarti/padapuja-style honouring. Swamiji candidate in saffron robes with distinctive long hair and garland cues; identity is an appearance-based probable match.2009-08-13August 01 20102010-08-01A seated man in saffron-orange robes, wearing a long white and red garland with a dark rudraksha mala, sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne, his right hand resting on a child's head. Three onlookers stand before him: a young girl in a blue sleeveless top with a child's head bowed in front of him, a young woman in a red shawl and white dress with gold bangles, and a girl in a pink patterned top with a long side braid. Behind them, a gold kalasha-style brass lamp stand and a red-and-white temple structure appear in the background, and a figure in white and yellow is partly visible. The scene reads as a padapuja-style blessing before a throne.2010-08-03A seated saffron-robed figure sits on a red cushioned throne with ornate gold carved backrest decorated with white and red flowers. He wears a red sleeveless undershirt, an orange-red shawl draped over his shoulders, a small orange towel on his lap, and a red bindi on his forehead. A man in a blue striped shirt and grey trousers kneels before him with palms pressed together in greeting, while white-clad attendants stand at the edges, one holding a mala. The setting suggests a darshan or satsang gathering, with a red tiger-striped cloth behind the throne.2009-06-14A seated man in an orange saffron robe with a draped shawl, wearing a white and yellow-green-red flower garland and rudraksha-style beads, sits on an ornate gold throne with eyes closed and right hand raised in blessing. A man in a blue polo shirt and brown trousers stands at left with his palms together. Behind the throne stand gilded deity murti with jewelled ornaments and flower garlands. A red-and-gold bolster rests beside the throne. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, saffron robe and ornate garland cues.2010-08-03A young boy in a light blue sleeveless top with white trim reaches out to touch the hand of a seated figure in orange robes. The seated figure wears a garland of white jasmine and red and yellow flowers and sits on a gold-framed throne with red velvet cushions and an orange cloth draped over one armrest. A gold bangle is visible on the boy's wrist, and a red thread hangs around his neck. Behind them, a wooden cabinet holds fruit, rolled scrolls and decorative items, and a person in white with a rudraksha mala stands at the right edge. The seated figure's face is not visible in the frame.2010-08-03A photograph of a seated sannyasi in long flowing orange robes on a gilded throne with red cushions, decorated with yellow and red flower garlands. The sannyasi, with long dark hair, smiles while holding a small boy in a yellow shirt and blue striped shorts who reaches toward a small object in the sannyasi's hands. An older man in white dhoti and shirt with a rudraksha-style mala leans in beside the boy, hand on the child's shoulder. Two attendants in orange clothing stand nearby, and a gold footstool with flowers sits in front of the throne on a red carpet. Background includes gold drapes, pink satin, and floral arrangements.2009-01-31A long-haired man in an orange saffron robe with a white flower and green leaf garland sits on an ornate gold throne with red velvet cushions, hands pressed together in namaste with eyes closed and a red tilak on his forehead. A woman in a pink dupatta kneels at his feet pouring water from a conch-shaped vessel over his feet in a silver tray, a padapuja-style foot washing. A younger person in orange sits at lower left, another person in orange sits at right with hands folded, and small silver vessels and a tray of fruit sit nearby on a white cloth. Swamiji (probable): the long hair, orange robe, floral garland and gilded throne match the Nithyananda Paramashivam candidate, and he is physically present, so the appearance cue is present.2009-08-13A two-panel photo collage. The left panel shows a smiling man with short dark hair and a red and yellow kumkum-style mark on his forehead, wearing an orange saffron garment and a thick garland of white jasmine, red and yellow flowers, seated beside an ornate gold-and-white throne.
