A pale peach-coloured single-storey building with a tiled roof and a covered front veranda stands at right, with a small framed notice board beside its door and potted plants below. A tall street lamp rises beside the gate, and a faint figure in light clothing walks near the gate at left. A wooden frame leans against the building's side wall at far right. No ritual or ceremony is visible.2006-12-10May 27 20072007-05-27Wide outdoor photograph at dusk of a construction site at an ashram compound. Low walls of brick and concrete blocks form the foundations of a new building, with piles of sand and gravel and scattered stones on bare red earth. Behind it stands a large domed structure with a red roof and a concrete block building beyond. To the right, a white single-storey building with a corrugated metal roof and a covered porch sits beside green shrubs and a tree. Two or three figures stand near the path, and one person rides a motorcycle along the dirt road. Hills and palm trees line the distant horizon under a pale evening sky.2007-05-21May 21 20072007-05-21A dusty unpaved red-earth road runs through a sparse construction site under a pale overcast sky. Scattered young trees and dry grass surround a low cream-coloured single-storey building with a red roof and a row of windows on the right, with a water tank on its roof. In the background, a half-built concrete structure with exposed pillars and piles of gravel and earth mark ongoing building work.2006-12-10A wide rural view of an open, unpaved red-earth clearing under an overcast sky. On the left, a long low building with a dark tiled roof and whitewashed walls stands beside the clearing. In the centre, a pale single-storey building with a flat roof is partly surrounded by stacked wooden poles and timber. Trees and shrubs line the background and right edge, and tall green grass fills the foreground, where a white cow grazes near a dark animal. No people are visible.A wide photograph of an ashram construction site on flat, dry red-brown earth. Two unfinished multi-storey concrete-block buildings with exposed frames stand at left, with rebar stacks and gravel piles nearby. In the centre, low white single-storey buildings with a terracotta-tiled roof and a water tank on scaffolding sit beside a grey-roofed shed. Three people in white clothing stand on the dirt path near the centre, and a stray dog walks at left. Rocky outcrops, young trees and a green metal gate frame the foreground, with a grey quarry hill and a line of trees in the background.2007-06-05A photograph of an unpaved dirt road running through an ashram site under a partly cloudy sky. Young coconut palms and a tall palm fan out on the right, with low green shrubs and scattered construction debris, rusted rods and a concrete block in the foreground. Behind them stand a two-storey building with a terracotta-tiled roof, a small green-doored structure and a thatched shed on the left, with bare trees and utility poles beyond. +1 copies
