A photograph of a neatly stacked pile of split firewood sticks on reddish-brown sandy ground. The pale and darker brown wooden pieces are arranged in layered, criss-crossing rows, forming a small square-based stack. No people are visible in the scene, and no ritual context is shown beyond the stacked wood itself.

Close-up photograph of several tied bundles of dried, pale brown woody twigs and sticks, bound together with rough cord. The bundles are packed in a grey metal container at the bottom of the frame, with cut ends showing lighter inner wood. No people, deities or ritual setting are visible; the bundles look like dried sacred wood or herb sticks prepared for an offering or fire ritual.

A photograph of a storm-damaged tree, its large trunk and limbs snapped and tangled across a dense mass of dry, browning leaves and thin twigs. Sunlight and a pale sky show through the upper branches. No people are visible in the scene, and the image appears to document cyclone wreckage near the relief work area in Pondicherry.

Close-up photograph of a pile of dried, pale tan and reddish wooden pieces and bark chips heaped on a round, weathered brass or metal tray. The shavings are curled and splintered, some long and some short, with darker grey-brown bark edges visible. No people, statues, or ritual figures are present; the frame is filled with the dried wood material.
