A long-haired bare-chested man in an orange dhoti, seated on a white stone platform at left, gestures with his hands toward a seated group. Behind him is a painted wall picture of Shiva and a deity with a red background, plus framed images and marigold garlands. Around him sit many devotees in white clothes, with white caps and red lanyards, listening. A man in a white cap and white kurta sits centre-front, a woman in white sits beside him, and a video camera operator stands at right. A man in a long-haired white robe with an orange shawl stands behind the seated man. Several children sit at the lower left edge. Orange and white banners hang at the top right.2006-01-05July 03 20082008-07-03A seated puja on a stone platform in an outdoor riverside setting. A long-haired man in saffron robes with a rudraksha mala holds a conch shell raised over a small silver murti on a carved wooden stand, while a second saffron-clad man beside him holds a bowl. Around them, devotees in orange and saffron shawls sit with palms pressed together, and a standing man in white and orange looks on. Brass pots, bowls of yellow liquid, marigold and rose offerings sit on the platform, and a red pillar and carved stone figures frame the background. The stage is a Himalaya Yatra gathering with a visible microphone stand.2008-07-03October 15 20082008-10-15May 19 20082008-05-19September 24 20062006-09-24A photograph of a courtyard outside a stone temple with a white-washed wall and red doorframes, where several people sit on the ground or on white plastic chairs. In the centre, an older man with white hair and a white moustache wears a white sweater over a checked shirt and orange dhoti, leaning down to a woman seated in a white plastic chair. She wears an orange shawl and has dark curly hair, her palms pressed together. Around them, people in orange and saffron robes and orange shawls sit or stand, including a man in a yellow turban and yellow shawl at left and a man holding a trident at lower right. A yellow metal box, an orange cloth-covered table and a small ornamental stone base are visible. Several figures in the background stand near the temple steps.2010-09-27Outdoor photo of a large crowd seated on stone pavement, many in white or orange clothing. In the centre, a long-haired figure in orange robes, a rudraksha-style gold beaded necklace and a gold armlet smiles and sits with hands joined; this person is a probable Swamiji by appearance cues (long swept hair, ornate gold necklaces, saffron clothing, a shawl) and the page names him at the event. Nearby, a man in orange holds a brass plate, a seated man holds a long staff, and devotees in saffron and white sit around; in the foreground a woman in red and orange sits with her back partly turned. Brass plates with offerings, fruit, and orange cloth lie on the ground.2011-12-20July 03 20082008-07-03Photograph of an outdoor puja at a riverside setting.
