Set on the flag is a framed portrait of a smiling figure in an orange robe seated in meditation with a mala, consistent with a Dwajarohanam flag-hoisting ceremony. A palm tree appears at the lower right. No people are visible in the frame.2018-12-22 +1 copiesDecember 22 20182018-12-22 +1 copiesA woman in a rust-orange sari with gold and cream borders stands beside an ornate copper dhwajastambha (flagpost) draped with marigold and white jasmine garlands. She wears a white and red flower garland and holds the ropes of the flag, her eyes lowered in concentration, while a hand at the lower right holds a bundle of dried grass.
