A photograph of a seated group of saffron and orange-robed sannyasis in a red-pillared hall, sitting on a white floor with leaf plates before them. In the foreground on a red mat, a man with long dark dreadlocks wrapped in a black-and-gold turban wears a marigold garland, gold armlets and a rust-coloured wrap. Beside him, a bearded sannyasi in orange robes wears a rudraksha mala and holds a long white ceremonial staff. Other seated devotees in orange cloth and head wraps sit along the row, with a red gate and bells in the background.

Four men in orange saffron robes sit on white plastic chairs in a small indoor room with pale pink walls. At left, a bearded man with a bare chest and a mala sits with hands clasped. Next, a man in an orange turban and a beaded rudraksha mala listens attentively. Second from right, a man with long, swept-back dark hair, smiling broadly, wears a bright red-orange robe and a rudraksha mala, hands folded. At far right, a bearded man in an orange turban and spectacles holds a folded paper. Behind them stands a glass display case holding a golden Om symbol.

Several saffron-robed sadhus sit on low wooden stools in a plain room with peach walls, eating a meal from steel thalis and plates of fruit and food. The man at far left wears a rust-brown turban and shawl and eats; next to him an orange-robed sadhu with a red-orange head covering sits near a water bottle. A bald man in an orange robe with a red and dark rudraksha mala talks with a companion, while two more orange-robed men at right eat, one with a rudraksha mala and one with glasses. A patterned rug covers part of the floor.

A night-time communal meal in an outdoor tent camp, with saffron-clad renunciants seated on floor mats at long wooden tables. A smiling man in the centre wears a maroon turban, a maroon shawl and a rudraksha-style beaded mala. Beside him, a man in orange robes and orange head cloth holds a beaded mala. At right, a shaved-headed man in orange robes wears red and white beaded necklaces. Steel thalis with flower garlands and food sit on the tables, and more orange-robed people fill the background under tent poles and lamps.
