A photo of a ritual setting with a long-haired man seated on a red-cushioned throne at right, wearing an orange-saffron shawl over his shoulders and smiling as he holds a silver bowl of white powder that he touches with his hand. Several shaved-headed men in orange-saffron dhotis with gold borders stand at left and centre, one bending forward, while a woman in a red garment kneels at the lower left. Gold-painted deity statues stand in the foreground, including a figure with raised hand at lower right. The seated man has distinctive long swept-back hair and saffron shawl cues, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) in the ritual scene, while the other men are priests or devotees.2013-03-10October 23 20152015-10-23October 22 20152015-10-22 +3 copiesA photograph of a ritual offering in progress. In the foreground, a bare-chested person with long dark hair and a swept-back style wears a saffron-orange shawl and gold bangles, reaching forward to scoop cooked yellow rice from a large brass bowl placed on a gold tray. Beside him, a shaved-headed priest in orange-red robes with white tripundra markings on his forehead holds his hands out to receive the offering, wearing a beaded rudraksha-style mala and an orange shawl. A third figure bows low behind the bowl in orange clothing. Other orange-robed people with white forehead markings and malas sit or stand in the background, in a bright hall with white fittings.2013-04-01 +1 copiesA seated man on an ornate gold throne with carved details and a red cushion, wearing a red-orange turban, saffron-and-gold dhoti-style garments, a shawl, beaded rudraksha-style necklaces and gold bangles, receives a silver tray of offerings from a bare-chested young man in a red-orange turban kneeling before him. Behind them, a standing man in red-orange and gold garments with a tilak and beaded necklace holds his hands in anjali, and a kneeling bald man in similar saffron attire bows with folded hands. A woman in white with an orange shawl and beaded necklace stands at the right, also with palms joined. Behind the throne are a golden staff, a brass lamp and a red backdrop with a painted image. Setting appears to be a ritual or satsang in progress.2015-10-22 +1 copiesJanuary 03 20152015-01-03December 20 20152015-12-20December 20 20152015-12-20A photograph inside a room with red walls and purple decorative panels.
