A seated man in an ornate gilded throne on a stage under a grey tent canopy, with a gold umbrella overhead. He wears a saffron-orange wrap, a rudraksha mala with beads at his chest, and has long dark hair swept back. His hands rest folded in his lap. The gold throne is draped with red, white and green flower garlands and a patterned cloth. Behind him is a backdrop with a large portrait of a smiling man in a turban and a painted deity figure holding a trident, plus Tamil script reading guru purnami. A red-carpeted footstool sits in front. Swamiji (probable): the saffron wrap, rudraksha mala and long swept-back hair match the page's Swamiji reference, and he sits on the throne.2012-07-03April 29 20122012-04-29A photograph of a man seated cross-legged on an ornate gold throne under a golden canopy with a small finial, in front of a backdrop showing painted deity imagery and Tamil text. He has long dark hair, a red flower garland around his neck, and his palms are pressed together in a namaste greeting while he smiles. His bare feet rest on a red mat. Flower arrangements in red and orange stand on side tables, and a pink backdrop with a tree-trunk pattern fills the stage.
