August 09 20072007-08-09A procession of about a dozen men walks along a dirt path in front of a whitewashed building with blue doors and a thatched roof. Most wear white kurtas and dhotis with orange shawls, while several in front wear orange robes. A man at centre wears a long orange garment, a gold necklace pendant and long dark hair, gesturing with his hand. Two men at the sides carry tall staffs topped with trident-like finials. Green trees and a red-flowered bush frame the scene.2007-12-23Outdoor photograph of a dirt path lined with leafy trees and low green shrubs behind a wire fence. A barefoot man with long swept-back dark hair wears a flowing saffron-orange wrap and walks in front. Probable Swamiji (long swept-back hair, saffron/orange wrap clothing) is walking at the centre. Beside and behind him, men in white dhotis and white shirts, some with orange shawls and rudraksha malas, walk along the path; one older man with white hair wears a white dhoti and red tilak. Bags are slung over shoulders.2006-09-18August 03 20082008-08-03A group walks along a forest path past large brown boulders and green trees. In the foreground on the right, a man with long dark hair and a red vermilion mark on his forehead wears saffron-orange robes with a long rudraksha mala and walks with eyes lowered. Beside him on the left, a man in white kurta with an orange shawl and a rudraksha mala walks ahead. Behind them, several men in white and saffron-orange garments follow, and one man in white and yellow holds a black speaker raised above his head. The right-hand figure has appearance cues consistent with the Swamiji candidate, including long swept-back hair, saffron robes and a rudraksha mala, so he is described as a probable Swamiji in person.2008-08-03Outdoor photograph of a group of saffron-robed sannyasis walking along a sandy path beside a white compound wall, beneath a large leafy tree. In the foreground, a man with long swept-back dark hair, saffron-orange robe and multiple rudraksha malas walks at the front and smiles; he has a distinctive long-haired appearance with rudraksha malas, so the appearance-based label is Swamiji (probable), in_person. Beside him, a bald elderly man in orange cloth walks, and a bearded sannyasi in orange wears a rudraksha mala and an orange turban-style head cloth. A younger sannyasi in an orange head wrap and orange robe carries a garland. Behind them, a man in a white shirt and white dhoti and a man in a yellow robe with a green-and-gold shawl walk, and a person in white is partly visible at the right edge. Behind the wall, a temple gopuram-style structure with a blue dome and a pillared entrance appears. Overall about six or more people are visible.2007-08-09Outdoor procession along a sandy garden path under leafy trees. A central figure in saffron-orange robes wears a long multicoloured flower garland with red, white and purple blooms, a white headband, and multiple beaded necklaces; he has a shaved-to-short head and walks barefoot. Several saffron-robed men follow, one carrying a tall gold ceremonial staff with a finial and another holding a long golden rod; a bearded man at right holds a brass tray or offering dish. An older man in white with an orange shawl stands at the left edge. Scattered fallen red petals and seeds lie on the ground beside a low hedge and a small black-and-white cat.2009-12-25Photo of a group walking barefoot along a dirt path lined with palms and dense green foliage in warm daylight. In the foreground, a man with long hair wears a saffron wrap and walks at left. Beside him, a bearded man with long hair, a white forehead mark and a rudraksha mala with ornate gold pendant wears a saffron robe and holds a bracelet-adorned hand near his chest. Behind them, two young boys in white dhotis and saffron cloths, one with rudraksha beads and a pendant, walk on the path. Further back, people in white robes and saffron shawls walk, one holding a folded paper or book. A small white container hangs in the upper left among the trees.2006-12-13Outdoor procession on a dirt path lined with tall palm trees and small flags. A central figure with long dark hair wears a saffron-orange dhoti and a thick garland of white flowers with red, yellow and green accents, along with a gold pendant necklace and a rudraksha mala. Around him, men and women in white dhotis and saffron-orange shawls walk alongside; a man at left holds a golden trident and a golden staff-like rod, and a bearded man in white with a rudraksha mala walks at right. Several women in white saris with orange shawls and a man in white at back complete the group.2007-12-23A group walks along a dirt path in a village-style compound with trees and a carved stone pavilion at left. At left, a long-haired man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and sandals gestures while speaking. Beside him, a man in a saffron turban and orange robe holds a rudraksha mala and walks barefoot. Behind them, a bearded man in orange with an orange turban and white-clad attendants follow. At right, a long-haired person in a yellow robe with a green-bordered cloth walks beside a man in an orange turban. Several men in white dhotis and shirts stand and walk nearby, with palm fronds and a thatched hut at upper right.2007-08-09December 30 20092009-12-30A procession walks along a dirt road lined with trees and potted plants under bright daylight. In the centre, a long-haired man in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala wears a garland of marigolds and carries an offering tray, flanked by orange-robed sadhus and men in white shirts and dhotis. A large empty billboard stands behind the trees and a parked car sits to the left. Several figures in white and saffron walk together, some carrying items. The visible cues of the central figure (long hair, saffron robe, rudraksha mala, garland) are distinctive, so the central figure is a probable Swamiji.2011-09-26
